As a child I remember my mum baking a super rich Christmas cake. We would wait for it. It would be a super moist and rich in taste. That is one thing I want to replicate for the kids this year. Then of course, Christmas isn’t complete without a plateful of cookies. Honestly, cookies is something I never succeeded at making well. I do love baking cakes, but I have always baked a disaster batch of cookies. All the time!
