I received the Vellvette box today! I was hoping it would contain samples that I would use, especially after I have gifted away the last two boxes. Disappointed with the selection of samples I had been sent earlier, I had written to them.

Hi! Just wanted to stop by to tell you that I am pretty disappointed with your services. I have filled the form twice where I have clearly mentioned that I don’t use cosmetics and despite that you sent across a blush in the last box and a lip gloss in the current box. 🙁 Why do I need to waste my time filling in the forms when you are sending what you wish? Seriously, I am really disappointed with your boxes.

The Vellvette Box for me this month was was in two words #Epic Fail. I took your mail seriously and hoped that you would make me happier with this box, but apparently it doesn’t matter to you.
I don’t really worry about the box coming to be in a torn condition. What matters to me is the products.
1. Max Factor Kajal – Really? Even after I write on my post and in your questionnaire that I don’t use make up, you send me something that I won’t use and that too in a damaged condition? What happened to your QA?
2. Lush Aqua Marina – I was one of the first ones to reply to the announcement when they said on FB that this would be the sample they will include in boxes for select people in Apr. I had replied to the post saying it is an awesome product and that I have the full size. Again, I don’t expect them to tally the FB comments and then pack the prods. So this sample is something I can still use.
3. Where is sample 3?????
Team Vellvette, will you respond to this post with your faster replies as promised on the card? And explain why am I getting samples I won’t use and an incomplete Vellvette box?
P.S: I don’t use sunscreen, so don’t worry about sending the sample you missed.

i don understand.. but april has been a month of disappointments all over….. including me!
Big time # epic fail. I have a month’s subscription to go and I am wondering if I should refund or take one last chance and NEVER ever subscribe to beauty boxes! tryortrade is waaaaay better. they allow you to choose what you want even if the products are few. At least I get to choose what I want and what I will use!

That’s so irritating! Even after you emailed them they don’t listen..argh I have similar issues with vellvette…they should erase the words “customized for you”
If they are reading these comments, I do hope they have something to say. I have not yet received a mail from them either 🙂
Man their service was, forgive the language, really shitty. Their motto should be, we will throw whatever the hell we want tat you and you WILL accept it.
That comment made me snort out the green tea. I kind of agree. I gave away two boxes after I received products I had specifically sent I don’t want. Received two damaged products in a row, they replaced once and the second time, they have not even bothered to either acknowledge the mail or this post. Which is pretty sad and shows how much they actually bother! Out of the 6 boxes I have received so far, I have barely liked half a dozen products that are to my liking. the best thing to do I guess is not subscribe!

If they did, it would make me happy! Its been a week since I made the last post on how I received a damaged product the second time, but no response 🙂 They just don’t seem to care.
They’ll shut shop soon hopefully. Maybe something else will pop up. with better products and services.
they seem to be only decent one in the market and they have loads of subscribers, so I doubt the shutting down. It’s just that I guess they did not have products that made me happy! So I clearly don’t fall in that happy target audience that they may have, Wait for the 23rd of every month and you will just vellvette boxes in your feed for the next 10 days. I just unsubscribed because it was really not to my taste! 🙂
