I’d seen a couple of products from Just Herbs on Natural Mantra and decided to buy a couple of them. Today I will review the Livelyclean Honey Exfoliating Face Cleansing Gel.
It is called a foaming face cleansing gel, but it just does not foam. The first time I used it, I thought I had taken too little of the product, but even a generous portion of it does not foam. So if you are a fan of the foaming face washes, you may not like this one!
Don’t go by the fragrance! It is not appealing at all, I can’t get the fragrance out of my head. I know it smells like something familiar, but I cannot remember what. But then since it does not leave behind a fragrance post wash, it is a life saver.
The exfoliating granules are really tiny and soothing on the skin. It left a slight tingling sensation on my skin when I used it the first time, but the tingling did not occur the second time. It is good for everyday use to wipe away the excess dirt and grime.

Mild enough to use every day, this foaming face cleansing gel is enriched with the anti-septic agents of neem, holy basil, honey and turmeric. Arjun, symplocos bark and jojoba banish impurities from clogged pores while orange peel tenderly exfoliates to expose fabulous, fresh skin. For best results, scrub it gently to stimulate blood circulation and boost skin immunity.

Packaging: It is not a fancy packaging and the face wash is packed in sturdy plastic bottle with a pump that allows you to pump out the the required amount of face wash.

Price and Shelf Life : The face wash is priced at Rs. 295 for a 100 ml bottle and it has a shelf life of 2 years from the date of manufacture.
Will I recommend this?: I have a combination skin and I felt that this left my skin a little oily post its use, so I will give this a skip. Maybe the product is better suited for winters where the skin gets dry and the moisturising it leaves could be helpful, so I am going to be stowing this for the next 6 months. And I guess, people with dry skin would like the product.
