The first fragrance that you can sniff as soon as open the cap is camphor. I found it a bit overpowering, but once you mix it with rose water, the fragrance is not as strong which is definitely a life saver! I have used this thrice, once as a pack and twice as a scrub. And I have not had the need to follow it up with a face wash for at least 8 hours. I have a combination skin and with the summer setting in slowly, my skin is getting to be a bit on the oily side. I need to constantly splash cold water on my face to keep it clean.
The only problem with the mask is that because of the camphor content, it tends to sting a bit. The stinging sensation lasted about 15-20 seconds, not more than that. There certainly was a difference in the complexion with the use. If you’ve been out on the sun for too long and would want a quick fix to reduce the tan, then this mask will sure come in handy.
