Vedic Line has its own FootSpa range. And I was looking not for the entire kit, but for some products that I thought would be good for my tired feet at the end of the day. So I went ahead and ordered for the Deep Cooling Pedi Ice Gel, the name was intriguing enough for me to purchase it!

About the Foot Spa Range “Vedic Line Foot Spa range is based on Ayurvedic concept of keeping feet, warm & soft, free from callous, corn, dirt and pain. This helps to relieve tension & keep spine supple and active. Good feet increase energy in body and glow on the face. Happy feet make happy people.”

About this product

“Oil free blend of Eucalyptus & Menthol. Instantly removes fatigue & heaviness. Extremely good for therapeutic & soothing effect. Massage gently on clean feet & let it dry. Use it 2 – 3 times a day to refresh feet.”

Let me start by confessing that my expectations of  this product was really high. I am the kind of a person who indulges in a pedicure, probably once in six months because I don’t have the time to go to a parlour. So when I saw this product claiming to get rid of the fatigue and heaviness,  I was more that willing to try it out.

The first fragrance that hits you right through your nose is that of Eucalyptus. I totally loved, loved , loved the colour of the gel. It is a lovely ice blue. I kept the product aside to use when I was sure that I could prop up my feet and get some rest. I washed my feet clean and took a generous amount of the gel and massaged it on the soles and the ankles. You can’t massage this for more than 30 seconds because the gel evaporates. Post the massage there was a lovely cooling effect on the feet and it was a nice tingly sensation. Just when I thought I could close of my eyes and relax the tired feet, the cooling effect and the tingling sensation vanished. And I was back to sqaure one. And trust me, it was a huge disappointment.  The entire feeling lasted less than two minutes.

How to use: Massage gently on clean feet & let it dry. Use it 2 – 3 times a day to refresh feet.

Where can I buy this? I bought this from Goodlife. Vedic Line products are available on most online shopping sites.

Ingredients: Water, Menthol, Eucalyptus Oil.

Packaging: I must say that I did love that lovely blue colour tub in which it was packed. It is a sturdy packing and useful to dunk into your bag and reapply at your office if you want to risk buying it.

Price and shelf life : This 65 ml tub costs Rs. 100 and comes with a shelf life of 3 years from the date of manufacture.

Will I recommend this? : No. It’s claims of removing the fatigue does not really work. While it did leave a nice sensation of my feet being cold and tingly, the feeling lasted for barely a minute. So that is a big disappontment. The bright side of the product was that the gel left my feet quite soft. So if you are looking at something to relax, this is not the one for you.
