I had seen the ads of Prakriti Herbals on FB and that is how I got to know of their existence. A couple of my friends had liked the page, so as the normal trend that would be on FB, I landed on the page out of curiosity. This is the Prakriti Herbals Facebook Page.
I picked up three products
1. The Amala Shikakai Shampoo
2. Freshlime Honey Shower Gel
3. Walnut Scrub
I’ve read some good reviews of the Walnut Scrub and the Amala Shikakai shampoo and I picked them up, the shower gel was an addition because I though Freshlime would be quite rejuvenating. And before I meander, here is a review. I’ve picked the Walnut Scrub for the review.
I think the first ever Walnut scrub that made its presence felt was the St.Ives walnut scrub that most of us have used because that was the only official scrub available in the market. Brands came and went and I never got to like any walnut scrubs. I decided to give this a try and I must say I am not disappointed. It cleans and moisturizes just the right amount. Don’t use this everyday. I used it about thrice a week and post the wash it leaves my skin really soft. And you really need just a bit of the scrub, maybe the size of a pea, not more.
Price and shelf life
All Prakriti Herbal products are 60 ml and priced at Rs. 120. They come with a shelf life of one year. Not expensive at all.
Where did I buy this from?
I picked up the products from Shopo. You can also buy this at Flipkart. Flipkart sells the individual products as well as the hampers, but Shopo has a wider range of products.
Will I recommend this?
For people with Dry – Normal skin yes. It cleanses and moisturizes really well. I did not face an issue of any break outs with this scrub either which is a plus point. I have a combination skin and I was quite happy with this product for the winter. I am doubtful it will have the same results in the summer though.
