Some other products that I bought from Naturelle were a scrub and Megs had also gifted me a soap at the Flea Market that I had met her at Ishanya Mall in Pune. Here are my reviews on these products.
Review I : Mountain Bounties-Jagriti: Peach Scrub
This is not your conventional scrub. The jar contains hand pounded peach kernel granules. You can also use this scrub for your face. The scrub smells of almonds! ( yes, I know it is supposed to smell like peaches, but I get the fragrance of almonds in it. )
How to use: Take the desired quantity and you can mix it with rose water, curd or milk. Mix it to a smooth paste and use it as a scrub. You can use it as a scrub for the body also. It exfoliates the body really well leaving it very smooth. Do put scoop out out the scrub powder with wet hands. Take out the desired quantity in a small bowl and mix it with the liquid you want.
I used this with a mix of water and the results were effective. I have used this on my face also and it is quite mild on the skin. It helped in absorbing the excess oils and I was left with a cleaner and oil free face for at least 6 hours.
Price: This sturdy jar of scrub weighs 65 gms and costs Rs. 75.
Description on the site:
Hand-pounded Peach Kernel Granules gently scrub away dry flaky and dead skin. Gently massage small amount on a moistened face (you may make a paste with rose water/milk/curd) and leave for 5 minutes. Rinse with water and uncover peachy-perfect skin! This is as natural as it gets!
Where can I buy this? : Click here to buy it. This product has a shelf life of 2 years.
Will I recommend this or buy it again?: Yes, Since this is not a pre-mixed scrub, it will stay for a long time. Since this scrub works effectively as a body scrub too and it is not expensive, I would not mind a repurchase of this. And if you are looking for a good body and face scrub, give this a try.
Review II – Ruby’s Herbals Papaya Soap
It is called a papaya soap, but somehow I do not get the fragrance of sweet smell of papayas. It smells like musk. The fragrance is not very strong. And what I like about the soap is that it lathers very well. I tried the same technique that I use for the soaps by Rustic Art. Wet your hands, glide the soap in between the palms and glide the palms over your body. It lathers very well and leaves a really nice lingering fragrance.
Will I buy this again? : Not really, even though the soap is really nice, I have other favourites. But I will certainly recommend it to people who want to try a different kind of a soap. This was the first time I tried a papaya soap. But here is a word of recommendation, it is quite a nice soap to use in the summers. I must add here that I like how soft and supple my skin is after I use this product.
Where can I buy this? : You can buy the soap at Naturelle, to buy, click here.
Price and Shelf Life: The soap is priced at Rs. 115 and it comes with a shelf life of 2 years.
