I recently picked up the Tejasvi Emulsion by Forest Essentials. I have been hearing a lot of rave reviews about this product and I had got a pocket sized sample of this product in the My Envy Box last year in Feb when they had sent out a complete FE box sampler. One of the best boxes, but not to digress! I had used the product that lasted for almost 2 months and then I completely forgot about it till I visited their store.
No matter what your skin type is or what the season is, it is important to set a skin care routine and most importantly stick to it. Cleansing, toning and moisturising should be a regular skin care regime and not to mention massages too. Tejavsi Emulsion by Forest Essentials is a slightly thick emulsion that is used to massage the skin on a regular basis to hydrate and nourish it.
It is a Ayurvedic remedy that is packed with a whole load of ingredients that keeps your skin soft, supple and moisturized.
Tejasvi Emulsion by Forest Essentials
I have been using Tejasvi Emulsion by Forest Essentials for almost 3 months now. Its a regular part of the skin care regime. I use it approximately twice a week. And I cannot tell you how much I love this product. It lives up to its name of being a lightening and brightening emulsion. It is easily absorbed by the skin and hydrates it completely and adds a lovely glow to it. It was my perfect companion for the winters! I have a combination skin that tends to dry out completely in winters and I need to keep it hydrated constantly. On the days that I used this emulsion, I didn’t need to follow up with a moisturiser for almost 8 hours which speaks for it hydrating and moisturising abilities.
Just a word of caution though, use very less quantity of the emulsion as I have mentioned, I used more once thinking it would hydrate the skin better, but it ended up with me getting a breakout on the skin which wasn’t good at all.
How to use Tejasvi Emulsion
Wash your face with a soap free cleanser and on wet skin take a bit of the emulsion and start massaging in circular strokes. You need roughly less than quarter a teaspoon of the emulsion. I apply it on the entire face and neck and massage slowly for at least 10 minutes. The shopper at FE recommends the massage for at least 20 minutes, but 1o is my upper limit! I use upward strokes towards the last 5 minutes of the massage and let the emulsion stay for at least 30 mins. I keep it on for almost an hour. Wet a soft cloth with tepid water and wipe off the excess emulsion off the face. You will notice visibly lighter skin after a few uses.
About the Product
This unique Emulsion removes blemishes and pigmentation by combining the potent properties of age-old Ayurvedic herbs, pure whole cream cow’s ghee, sweet Almond oil, virgin Coconut oil and Kokum butter blended with purifying and skin lightening and brightening herbs, root and flower extracts.
The base of pure Cow’s milk ‘Ghee’, which is aged to extract the desired benefits, instantly provides extraordinary lighting of the skin tone and brightening of the skin.
My recommendation
I am not sure how the Tejasvi Emulsion will fare with people who have troubled or sensitive skin, but for all other skin types, invest in this jar of skin elixir. Your skin will literally thank you for it. It hydrates, nourishes, lightens, moisturises and brightens you skin while keeping it soft and supple.
The price is on the higher side with about 50 gms of the emulsion. Priced at 2275, as I said, it is a tad expensive but the jar lasts for at least 6 months, so that is real investment in skin care! I have been using it regularly to ensure that my skin gets the required nourishment. You can buy Tejasvi Emulsion by Forest Essentials from Amazon .

You could always to go to a FE store and ask for a sample. They would give you enough to try for at least 3-4 uses and you can check if it works for your skin type.

Planning to do that. Hope it works on me.
