A single trip to Sephora can set your wallet lighter! But the key is to not step into Sephora (unless of course they store your favorite products!). If you have a beauty kit, your go-to kit that houses your favorite products, there are some must-haves! Ensure that the things your beauty kit needs to have are 100% chemical-free, natural and organic.

The trick is that when you invest in good products that will truly make a positive difference in your look, then consider the money well spent.  The problem is when you stock up on beauty products that you don’t use because you realize you don’t need them or worse, they’re the wrong beauty products for you.

Here is a list of the things your beauty kit needs to have.  In specific, eight things your beauty kit needs to have! The specific brand you will choose will depend on your budget, your preferences and your skin type, but this post is a general guideline that you can follow for your skin care routine, no matter what your skin type is.

Face wash

This is the most BASIC thing you need to have in your beauty kit. A delicate, super-light, yet hydrating face-wash that will keep your skin’s natural pH balance in place while gently cleansing it off the dirt and grime. I can swear by the face washes by Juicy Chemistry, Mamaearth, Daughter Earth and Omved. Each of the brands have a face wash for a specific skin type, be it oily, combination, dry. mature or oily! So determine your skin type before you zero in to a face wash that is going to be the basic product in your beauty kit.

Toner

From the house of Mamaearth, launched The Derma Co. ; a brand that focused on targeted skin care solutions. I have been using this particular toner for my skin type which is a combination type and an oily T zone. Other brands that have fabulous toners are Juicy Chemistry ad Daughter Earth.

Lip Balm

Lip Tint

When I say lip tints, the only brand that comes to my mind is Daughter Earth! Though there are quite a few brands out there who make lip tints, but no one makes it as well as Daughter Earth. Skin Mousse/Concealer

I am not a fan of foundations and concealers, but when I came across Ruby’s Organics, I knew I had to just jump in and try their concealers. The up side is that they spread super smooth, giving your skin a warm and a dewy finish, the down side is that the quantity is really less! I never got around buying it again, because the one I picked up caked up.

Face Oil

Face oils can be used in two ways. One you leave it on the skin to absorb. The second way is to let it stay on the face for a few hours and wipe off with a warm washcloth. Using a face oil is totally dependent on your skin type. If you have oily, sensitive or acne prone skin, you may just need to apply it on the face and neck and wipe it off after an hour or two. For those with dry skin, you can let it soak in your skin overnight.

Eye Creams

The skin under the eyes is particularly delicate and thin. Which is why it bears the brunt of stress or bad lifestyle choices. But there’s still hope! The trick is to use an eye cream that’s tailored to your main concern. And which contains no chemicals whatsoever – you don’t want to worsen it!
