Rosemary Mint Salts by Bath Etc

I’ve said this before and I will say it again. I love bath salts that help you relax and get rid of the tiredness and the fatigue. And I love  bath salts more when hey double up as a foot soak that not only help relax those tired feet but also end up making them fragrant.  I discovered this brand when I was doing a search for natural products In India.

Bath Etc has an awesome collection of scrubs, soaps, candles, essential oils and moisturising bars. If you are looking at a particular fragrance that you love, you just need to let the owner know and if you are lucky enough she may just create a customised product for you!

At the first glance the products seemed interesting and I ordered for a couple of products that I did not blog about. This bottle of bath salt was picked up when I was in Mumbai and happened to attend one of the numerous exhibitions.

I prefer using this one as a bath salt as well as a foot soak, more on the latter because I love the way it leaves my feet so relaxed, soft and of course fragrant.

The first fragrance that you get is of mint, which is pretty strong. It overpowers the fragrance of rosemary. The salt gets dissolved easily and works well on exfoliating the dead skin. In fact it acts like a good skin polish that leaves you smelling minty and fresh. I loved this is the summers. It was a perfect option to smell nice and fragrant.

If you are using this as a body scrub, you will need about a tablespoon and a half. It is sufficient to cleanse the body. When I use it as a foot soak, I use about 3 tablespoons and mix it with as hot water as I can bear. I soak my feet for about 15 minutes and it relaxes you completely.

The packaging as you see is not a travel friendly one. It is a bulky glass jar with a lid that is slightly loose. Even if it was tight, the jar is too bulky to even fit in your toiletries bag.

While I love the product, I would like to try the other salts before I settle on what I like the best. She has loads of bath salts aavilable, so I will try some of the other interesting fragrances for now.

About the Product 

This is a blend of Himalayan Salts, Epsom Salts and Dead Sea Salts. These are well known for the therapeutic properties of stimulating blood circulation, Adding flexibility to muscle and joints, rejuvenating the skin to mention a few. It also has Rosemary and Mint essential oils, both extremely well know for their pain alleviating and stress reliving properties. You can use these salts to soak your feet in it too.

How to Use:
Take a spoonful into your palm and add a few drops of water. Mix it into a paste and gently rub it onto the body. Avoid cuts and open wounds. The Himayalan Crystals will massage you while the Dead Sea and Epsom Salts will send the minerals into the body through the open pores.
