As a mum who needs to pack lunch and snack boxes I am always at a loss on what to give them! And my twins go to a school that stresses on healthy eating; not that I would sneak in a packet of chips, but the challenge to pack something “different and interesting” every day is a nightmare!
This book is your go-to recipe book if you are stuck for ideas to make some creative tiffin’s for your kids. Bread rolls transported me to my childhood and I realised that I have never made these for my boys! And the best part is that Pragun has given a step-by-step method and explained it detail on how to cook these recipes.
I have made a list of some amazing recipes to try! While cooking is always therapeutic; long winded recipes scare me. The recipes in this book are absolutely simple and easy to make. You should try the appe, bread rolls, cinnamon rolls ( simply divine!!), egg parathas, gulgula, lettuce puris ( yes, it exixts) are some of the recipes that you just have to try!
So, if you are a clueless mom like I am and your kids bombard you with “I want something interesting to eat”; download Tiffin Treats – A Cookbook for Tackling Tiffins now! Pamper your family and yourself too with some fabulous food!
Just a few suggestions:
The images used in the e-book could be larger, clearer and have a caption. Especially the ones that has a step-by-step instruction. A visual presentation of food is always a treat. I personally prefer larger pictures of food.
The recipes should have been hyperlinked to click and view. Hyperlinking is an easier way to navigate to the page you want. It saves the effort to scroll up and down the e-book to locate the recipe. Of course, it can also be cumbersome.
The book lists the uses of some of the oft used Indian ingredients, if it had more health benefits written on it, making that switch to healthier options would be easier.

Thank you very much for a Dil se Review, Yes agree about the size of pics, but I had thought it will increase the book size so I avoided, but in future will surely remember. Also since I had posted only one recipe out of the tiffin box of varied items so hyperlinking was avoided.
All in all, you had reviewed it to the point and thanks for liking it and making it a hit.
Congratulations to you also for taking it to most popular post section! You write well.
