When I discover something that is a combination, like a hand and a foot lotion, I pick it up because I know I need just one cream or lotion for the hands and feet! I’d been eyeing this product for quite a while but I never got around doing so because I wanted to first test the product. I saw this in a small shop that hosts a lot pf organic stuff in Koregaon Park, Pune. Yes, I know I have this habit of discovering these small places that sell fab stuff .
Let me start by saying that even though this is a foot cream, it is unlikely to take care of cracked heels. It did not help in eliminating my cracked heels, but it helped curb the new possible cracks that could have appeared in the heels. What it did leave me with was visibly softer hands and feet that I totally love!
The fragrance of this lotion is very lemony, very citrusy and the fragrance lasts for quite a while post application. On days I remember I apply this at least thrice a day, but I try and apply this at least at nights before I sleep. I love the cooling and tingling sensation it leaves behind post the application which I find quite relaxing after a tiring day.
This is a really light lotion that gets absorbed within a few seconds of its application and the good thing about it is that like a few hand and foot creams I have used earlier, it does not leave your hands and feet greasy, so you won’t need to worry about staining the sheets. Oh yes, please shake the bottle realllllly well before you pump out the lotion!
The one thing I don’t like about this lotion is the packaging. It’s packaged in a sturdy plastic bottle, is travel friendly, but the pain is the nozzle. If you spray this even half an inch from the hand, it splatters all over your hand. To pump out the lotion, shake the bottle really well and hold it close to your hand when you are pumping out the lotion.
Price, Shelf Life and Availability
This 100 ml bottle is priced at INR 495 and has a shelf life of 18 months. You can buy this from greenngood, craftsvilla, Organic Shop and Shopo. I picked this up from a small little shop tucked away on the main road of Koregaon Park called Nature’s Bounty, that is located near the Osho Ashram in Pune.
Will I recommend this?
Yes! If you love lemony fragrances that linger, go ahead and give this a try. If you don’t like strong fragrances, don’t indulge in this one. The price is on the higher side, but worth the money, I have been using this for close to a month now and I expect it to last another two months, which totals to 3 months. You need about a pump each for the hands and the legs. An average on INR 150/month is not a bad deal!
I am not sure how this will fare in the winter because it is a light moisturiser and also non greasy. And if I had to nitpick, it would be the packaging! I think it does need a better packaging.

there was one Mountain Bounties too, right? natural beeswax.. something. you mentioned that this wouldn’t be sufficient in the upcoming winters, so should I pick the Mountain Bounties one for the colder months?

hands are just too dry. nails too :/ too much of washing them again and again

Try a body butter? It is creamier and hydrates for a longer time. I use the Nori Body Butter from TNC in the winters for the hands and legs instead of buying something separately.
