Omved Organic Bamboo tees {Product Review}

Omved Onesie’s was the first organic clothing that I picked up for my lil’ nephew who was then barely two months old. I was not very sure how his skin would react, so I played it safe. A month later, I went armed with all the onesies that Omved had for babies because my nephew was so comfortable in it! I also ended up buying tees for my twins and yoga pants.

They do have a line of tees for adults also, but unfortunately none that could fit me 🙁 So everyone in my house, except me now own Omved clothing! The tees are super soft to the touch and these are one of the most comfortable clothing that I could find for my boys. One drawback is that the tees are very limited. You may just get one or two varied patterns. They have at least half a dozen different onesies with different patterns, so I got to pick one each of all the patterns. That was a life saver!

Pricing

The onesies are priced at Rs. 520 each and the Tees for kids are priced at Rs. 820. Expensive, yes, I will not deny that. But when I am getting something organic and natural that will protect my kids, money will certainly take a backseat. As a mum, most of you would agree to this.

Where can I buy these?

I bought a part of the onesies from the Omved store in Inorbit Mall, and I ordered a few from Natural Mantra. If you buy these from the store, these tees and onesies come packed in these super cute tin boxes that you see in the pics. I almost felt like keeping the tins and giving just the onesies to my nephew. The tees are packed in the maroon tins and the onesies are packed in little green tins. I’ve saved the tins to use as pen holders and other stuff 🙂

Will I recommend this?

Highly unlikely to say no, when everyone in my house owns it. Of course yes! I simply love the softness of the tees and onesies. I’ve actually had to discard some brand new clothes of other known brands because it did not suit the sensitive skin of my younger one. And with babies, you really need to be sure of what you make them wear because the skin is so tender. If you have kids at home, do buy these. I would highly recommend it!

Note: For washing, I use the Amway SA8 or Rustic Art Power Laundry Detergent and I machine wash the clothes. I do not use any harsh detergents, so this extends the life of the clothing.
