Nirvaaha Face Glow Pack
This product came to with a lot of awesome feedback and needless to say I was willing to give this a try. It smells like flour and though it has Desi and Lata Gulab in the ingredient list, I could not get the fragrance of rose. I mix this mostly with raw milk because I am out of the pure rose water stock. I like to use this as a mild scrub rather than a face pack. If you want to use this as a mild scrub then apply a thin layer of the pack on your face and neck and wait for it to dry. Wet hands and pat on your face and rub in circular motions to exfoliate.
It does not give that visible glow, but yes your skin is definitely clearer for at least the next two days. I have used this about 6-7 times till now and I used exactly the quantity shown in the pic on the left.

I have noticed that my freckles and pigmentation reduced by its colour to a certain extent. That is what makes your face look cleaner. I have also used this as a face pack, but I find using it as a scrub a lot more effective.
Price and Shelf life
This 50 gms glow pack is priced at INR 180 and has a shelf life of about a year and half to years. I bought this 3 months ago and there is no manufacturing date mentioned on the tub and the expiry date mentioned is Mar 2014. It does not have a fancy packing as you can see.

Will I recommend this?
For people with a combination and oily skin, yes. It dries out the excess oil making your skin look really soft and clean. I am not sure about how this one would be for people with dry skin though.

The mud face pack would be the same as fullers earth I guess, so I picked this one instead.
Ahh..yes..I remember doing some research on the 2 face packs..but now I don’t remember why I zeroed in on the mud one:)
Thanks for the review, Pratibha. Working on addressing the feedback – we should switch to better packaging soon. There was barely enough space on the label for the mfg and exp date, so just put the expiry. Will try to put both on the new container.
The Face Glow Pack is for a glow, rejuvenating cells and removing suntan while our Mud Face Pack is for removing blemishes and marks, and the mud pulls out toxins.
