Every month I do a quick google search to see what the beauty bags have in store and none of the products excite me. I happened to notice that My Envy Box Feb 2016 had a collaboration with Forest Essentials and I was waiting to see what the box had in store. When the reviews started trickling in, I saw it was a complete Forest Essentials Box, I gave in and got the My Envy Box Feb 2016 for myself. As I mentioned My Envy Box Feb 2016 is a Forest Essentials special. If you love the brand or have been on the fence wondering if you should use this brand, give it a try. My Envy Box Feb 2016 is worth the money and it will also introduce you to some of the best samples from Forest Essentials.
My Envy Box Feb 2016 – Forest Essentials Special
My Envy Box Feb 2016 is dedicated to 15 years of Luxurious Ayurveda and it is a complete Forest Essentials Special Box. That’s the box at a glance and here is what I received.
Forest Essentials Hand Pounded Organic Fruit Scrub: 8gms
Yes, I love my scrubs. Whether I make them at home or buy from a store, a scrub is pretty much a part of my daily routine. I have used the Forest Essentials Hand Pounded Organic Fruit Scrub earlier, but honestly I am a little biased to their Revitalising Kashmiri Walnut Gel Scrub. I find the hand pounded scrub a bit oily for my skin which is a combination skin. It works best for me in winters, but not the rest of the seasons. I guess this is more suited for a dry skin type. But I have to admit that I love its consistency -not too harsh or too gentle, it exfoliates the skin really well. and exfoliates my skin really well.
Forest Essentials Lightening & Brightening Tejasvi Emulsion: 8gms
This is a ghee based emulsion and ghee is one of the most preferred ingredients in Ayurveda. I had tried a sample of this one and I found it a bit too nourishing and oily for my skin type. I am assuming that this one is suitable for those who have dry skin. I am not a fan of this product.
Forest Essentials Luxury Sugar Soap – Bengal Tuberose: 50gms
I have used the Forest Essentials Luxury Soap with the fragrance of Bengal Tuberose earlier and I prefer the bitter orange soap that they have. Its more citrusy and you actually feel rejuvenated post a bath. You can opt for this if you like floral fragrances. I have found their soaps to be on the expensive side and I am not really a fan of the soaps.
Silkening Shower Wash – Mashobra & Honey : 50 ml
The Silkening Shower Wash – Mashobra & Honey was the sample I received. I am currently using the Absolute Indian Rose as well as the Madurai Jasmine shower wash. I have used the bath oil, shower wash as well as the dusting powder of the Mashobra & Honey fragrance earlier and I love it.
Ultra Rich Body Lotion – Indian Absolute Rose: 50 ml
I had picked the Indian Absolute Rose body lotion from Sephora recently for the winters. Again, a very floral fragrance that lasted a really long time all through the winters. I doubt if the fragrance would linger in the summers. And the best part is that it is delicate enough to use for kids too.
Overall, this is one of the best boxes I have received till now. I am happy with the February My Envy Box, even though I have the full sized prods of all the products. If you have never used Forest Essentials till now, give this box a try. This month’s box is a total value for money. What have you got in your MEB this month?
