Mama Earth Stress Relief Tea

Mama Earth Stress Relief Tea

Being a mom to twin boys, most of the times my stress levels hit the roof and break that ceiling too.  Yes, parenting is an amazing experience, but what is equally important to me is ensuring that I stay sane and do a good job on my parenting skills!  After all, you need to be less stressed to ensure your child’s well-being!

When Mama Earth shared the news about the latest launch on Traditional Recipes, I knew that Mama Earth Stress Relief Tea would have to be sampled! I have my stock of green teas, but then they say, coffee and tea is never enough!

Herbal teas are a delicious and easy way to increase your fluid intake and sneak in some extra nutrients. They also possess a range of medicinal qualities that help to heal health issues. Mama Earth Stress Relief Tea comes with a promise to reduce the stress levels and soothe a tired mind.

Looking after hyper 8 year olds and keeping up with their activities can be tiring. I brew this tea in the mornings after the chaos at home ends, with the boys at school and the better half at work. That scenario is actually good enough to lessen the stress!

It’s a sip of goodness for me! Mama Earth Stress Relief tea has healing ingredients that are good for you and your skin. This is the first time I have tasted tea with Eucalyptus and I have to say that the fragrance is a tad over powering for me. I am more inclined to the Mama Earth Feel Better tea which I will review in another post.

Drink this tea when it is warm to soak in the benefits of the ingredients that are infused in the tea. I love the subtle taste of cinnamon and ginger that the tea has. I am pretty intrigued by the Indian Sarsaparilla Root that the tea has. I have never tasted it so I don’t quite know if the flavour is predominant in the tea.

What’s in Mama Earth Stress Relief Tea?

The tea has herbs and spices that helps to calm your tired mind. I have listed the major ingredients used in the infusion along with its healing properties. Oh, and did I add that I am completely in love with the bright tin box that stores the infusion bags?

Listed are the ingredients that are a part of Mama Earth Stress Relief Tea.

Cardamom seeds: Cardamom, often referred to as the Queen of Spices has an impressive list of benefits! Right from promoting blood circulation , reducing stress to improving the digestion and calming the mind, this wonderful pice works wonders in reducing stress.

Cinnamon bark: Apart from relieving stress it has antioxidant, anti-inflammatory and anti-microbial properties. Yet another immunity-boosting ingredient, this Indian spice also helps to relieve  stress & promote relaxation.

Eucalyptus leaf: Eucalyptus has a calming effect on a tired mind. If you are suffering from chronic stress, the eucalyptus leaf in the tea will calm you to a great extent.

Ginger root: Ginger root  has good digestive properties that makes you feel less bloated, reduces nausea symptoms and also relieved pain.

Indian Sarsaparilla Root: I had never heard of this plant and I had to google it to know more about its benefits. Known as anantmool, in Hindi, it translates to endless root.  It is traditionally used in medicines for its soothing and calming effects. Other uses include boosting the immunity and easing mental & physical fatigue. You can read more about it here.

Brewing it

For maximum benefit, brew the herb tea  properly. Pour 200ml of freshly boiled water over a tea bag in a ceramic cup. Cover cup and let it stay for 10-15 minutes. Some of the factors that help brew a cup of good green tea include the right water temperature, covering your cup and steeping it well.  Gently squeeze the tea bag to release the remaining extract. Drink two cups daily between meals. Most of the times if you want some sweetness in the tea, you can add some stevia or honey. But I refrain from adding these because I like the natural taste of the teas.

Pricing, Availability and Recommendation

Priced at ₹ 599,  the tea is available on their website as well as Amazon India. The 30 infusion bags come with a small instruction card and are packed in white and blue colored keepsake tin. The tea is made with 100% natural ingredients that are also grown organically free from chemicals and pesticides. Herb teas are a very good way of increasing your water intake apart from keeping you healthy. So, yes this is a must recommend product from me.

Herbal teas are a safer alternative to the sweet teas and coffees that sometimes form a part of our staple diet. Apart from consuming herbs and spices that are good for your health, you are also working towards a healthier lifestyle. Have you tried the Mama Earth Stress Relief Tea as yet?
