I was at The Nature’s Co Store recently and picked up the Nori Body Butter, Lemon Peel Exfoliating Body Wash, Peppermint Foot Soak and Sweet Almond Toe and Nail Cream and along with that they gave me a handful of samples. Neat haul! I’ll start with the Lemon Peel Exfoliating Body Wash. I’ve read quite a few good reviews about this product and I was keen to pick this up. I like to exfoliate totally at least once in a fortnight.
This product belongs to the Starrize Range. Inspired by the sun, the biggest star in our solar system. Like the sun, the products provide nourishment. But at the same time, they protect, especially against harmful radiation and its effects. Setting you up with the sparkle and energy to face the day.
It has an absolutely refreshing and citrus fragrance that is bound to rejuvenate you. Though I love using this even in the winter season, I think this is going to be absolutely fantastic to use in the summer too. It is bound to make you feel really fresh and rejuvenated. It lathers well and I would recommend to use this with a loofah. I found this was bit runny for a body wash and that is why I recommend using it with the loofah so that you don’t spill it! The tube packaging allows you to at least control the amount you want to pour out.
Price and Shelf life
This 250 ml tube of exfoliating body wash is priced at Rs 775 and has a shelf life of 18 months.
Where can I buy this ?
You can buy this from The Nature’s Co online store here. This product is also available on Jabong.
Will I buy this again?
Even though this is really refreshing I think the price is steep. And the exfoliation was not intense. Not only were there lesser granules, but also the granules were very mild on the skin making the exfoliating process a very gentle one.
One major thing to note here, this is a body wash so it is bound to strip away the skin of essential oils. I am comparing this with proper body scrubs, so I guess I was a little disappointed. Most body scrubs come with the richness of sesame or olive oil and it moisturizes your skin post the exfoliating. So you don’t need to use a moisturizer after you have used a body scrub. Even the body scrub that I make at home is filled with the richness of olive oil so it is really soothing on the skin.
