The Irish Moss – Mint Bath Oil from Nature’s Co was sent across almost a month ago for a review. When I was first asked if I could review it, my first question was, “A body oil, in the summer? Are you serious?. And yes, they were serious and I was so wrong about the misconception I had about NOT using a body oil in summers.
Irish Moss – Mint Bath Oil from Nature’s Co
I have been using the Irish Moss – Mint Bath Oil from Nature’s Co for almost a month now and let me tell you that its been a boon in this scorching heat. Unlike most body oils, this one isn’t heavy or oily and in fact it spreads over your skin really lightly and is absorbed easily too leaving your skin hydrated and moisturised. Its a myth that you don’t need to keep your skin moisturised in the summer because the heat makes your skin feel oily and sticky. On the contrary, your skin gets dehydrated a lot with the sweating that you actually need premium skin food that can work towards keeping your skin healthy and hydrated.
A body massage is something that you can indulge in any time of the year. This Irish Moss – Mint Bath Oil from Nature’s Co works wonderfully to reduce the dullness of the skin and rejuvenate it. The delicate fragrance of mint helps to soothe the tensed muscles and promote a complete feeling of relaxation and rejuvenation. It works well as a deodoriser to mask any unpleasant fragrances from your body. Vitamin E oil and the Sweet Almond oil in it helps to nourish your skin naturally and keep it hydrated.

How to use
You can use it two ways, either in the shower or as a massage oil.I prefer using it in the shower in the summer season and I’ll probably use it as a massage oil in the cooler seasons.
Using it in the shower
I prefer using this in the shower. All you need to do is pump out 5-7 drops on wet skin to seal in moisture and massage lightly. Pat dry with a towel. You can also use it in the bath water or tub. Pump about 10 drops of the oil in the drawn water to wash off and seal in the moisture.
Using it as a massage oil
I prefer using it as a massage oil in the cooler seasons. Warming the amount oil required in a copper vessel so that the healing properties are not lost. Massage in long strokes all over the body. Leave it on for at least an hour before you wash it off.
Price and Availability
Priced at INR 645 for 100 bottle, you can buy this from the TNC website. One bottle will last you at least 2-3 months because you need very little quantity of the product.
I’d recommend this if you are looking at a natural alternative to keeping your skin hydrated this summer. It doesn’t leave your skin oily or greasy. Perfect product to relax and soothe the tired nerves!
