I’ve got quite a few products stacked away for a review! And I have been so swamped with work that I just do not have the time! Now, there is one brand that I got hooked on to quite a few years ago and this time, when my better half was away on a longish trip visiting three different countries, I asked him to pick up some products from my first ever fav brand, Lush. I was to keen to use RO ‘s Argan body conditioner by Lush. This was a different type of a conditioner that you needed to apply post a bath. I had used one earlier that was supposed to be used in the bath and washed after application. I had bought one from Marks & Spencer and I don’t recollect the name though. Anyway, not to digress, the better half did not get that for me because it was superbly expensive, instead he got a wonderful Lush Haul which actually cost him more than that lone body conditioner. But I am not complaining!
I’ll be reviewing Herbalism today. The first time I had tried Herabalism was about 4 years ago, when the better half got it for me from London. This is a cleanser which worked wonders on my skin. This product is best suited for oily skin and problem skin, but I have a combination skin and it worked just fine for me. It is a mix of loads of herbs that are good for your skin. It has ground almonds, sage oil, rice bran, chamomile oil, in short all that is good for your skin!
Price and Shelf life: This small tub of 100 gms cost Rs.585 and has a shelf life of 4 months.
Where did I buy this from? : This was not bought in India, but you can order Lush products online and you also get it at UT.
Packaging: All Lush products are packed similarly depending on what category they fall under. Most 100 gm scrubs/cleansers/creams etc are packed in a small black tub. You need to unscrew the lid to take out the desired quantity.
How to use it: I use this not more than four times a week. I take roughly half a teaspoon of this and mix it with water to get the desired consistency and massage it in circular motions for about 2 minutes. I let it stay for another minute before washing it off with cold water.
Will I recommend this?: Yes! I am yet to come across a Lush product that does not make me happy! It is a tad expensive, but worth it.
