I love anything that can relax feet! I’ve been pretty happy with the Omved Foot Soak that I have been using for a while now. The fragrance of Happy Feet* was really heady and since I love peppermint, I picked this up. It did not live up to the claims it makes. That was quite a let down. The fragrance is the only good thing about this foot soak! It just does not live up to claims it makes of soothing tired nerves, exfoliating your feet and relaxing and rejuvenating tired feet.
Tip: As with all Soulflower soaps ( and Lush too!), it is best that you cut it into sizes you want to use so that it lasts longer. I have noticed that they melt fast and cutting them into sizeable chunks makes them last longer. It also allows you to juggle between fragrances, if you use more than one soap at a given point of time ( like I do! ).
Price and Shelf life
This 150 gm bar of soap is priced at INR 250 and comes with a shelf life of 3 years.
Where can I buy this?
Flipkart, Natural Mantra **and the Soulflower Store. I picked this from the Home Center in Phoenix Mall, Pune.
What is this product about?
Happy Feet is designed for cracked, chapped, dry, peeling or generally unhappy feet. If you’ve been walking long distances or simply have tired, battered feet from a long day’s work, get some comfort by soaking your feet in hot water & then thoroughly wash them with Happy Feet or use as usual in a shower. Hot water opens the pores so that this soap can get to work immediately! This quick pick-me-up for your feet is also said to promote healthy sleep, owing to its relaxing action on the foot nerves. How amazing is that?
It did not work for me. It worked zilch on exfoliation and on aches and pains. The only thing that I loved about the soap was that it left me with very aromatic feet. That is all. The peppermint does leave a nice tingling sensation that last for barely a few minutes. And it feels good till it lasts. I’d rather recommend a foot soak or a foot scrub to this soap. And this is certainly not on my repurchase list.
