We are on the last day of 2013. As the year ends, I reflect on the things and moments that happened. This year has been one of the best in my life and I know that this is just the start of the good things that are about to unfold in my life. I wanted to take some time to be thankful for the things that made 2103 a beautiful year! Here it is, my gratitude story in pics.
Gratitude 2013
#1 Soaking in nature
I am thankful for the many sunrises I saw in 2013! They were refreshing, rejuvenating, calming and peaceful. As I write this post, the building has risen and blocked my view of the sunrises. Nevertheless, I still see the rays peeking out from here and there and it just makes me happy!
Yaay! It gave me a high to see my post and my pic published in the local newspaper thanks to Indiblogger. This was also the year that a book I had helped an author to edit got published, it was a wonderful surprise to see my name in the acknowledgements page! I hadn’t even thought of these things!
Taking the leap professionally and converting my passion into my profession. A new world of possibilities, a new approach to work, new thinking and believing in myself. 2013, for me was an eye opener about my abilities and what I could achieve. Got a new logo thanks to an awesome friend who completed this is less than 2 days despite being in a different time zone. Got a new website thanks to the mompreneur Swapna Thomas!
#4 Writing down the life goals
I never thought writing down life goals and business goals would be so healing and beautiful. It also gives me a perspective of what I want to do and what I will do. These worksheets and planners are a must have if you want to plan your business well! You can read a detailed post about her workbooks from a blogger who is a part of her academy here. You can also buy the workbooks from a link in the same post.
#5 Click. Click.Click
I may not have the time I wanted to, but when I do get that little free time, I use it for photography. Pics for the soul, they always make me happy. I am glad that I got some time to indulge in photography and take some amazing pics that cheered me up! I hope your new year is as bright as this beautiful flower!
6# Being with the boys
All three of them! The main one is missing in this pic! Spending time with them and listening to their stories is always wonderful. This is one of the rare moments that a friend captured where there was an abundance of brotherly love! I am glad to spend another delightful year with the three most important men in my life!
#7 Believe
The power to believe in yourself is one of the most positive things that can happen to anyone. Self-belief makes you feel awesome and loved! I began with this exercise sometime in August and the changes I see are immense! Try it to believe it.
#8 Save the best for last
They say, save the best for last. And I just did. 2013, also introduced me to a world of mompreneurs. They became my role models where I moved from being happy in my peaceful and comfortable life to going beyond my comfort zone and realising that there was potential in me, more than I imagined. People who made the difference – the awesome mommy blogger, Swapna Thomas, who owns TheMomViews, Denise Duffield Thomas and Leonine Dawson. Thank you! Had it not been for you, I would not have discovered a lot of things!
That was a wrap up of 2013! And here is wishing each and everyone of you reading this post a very happy and a blessed new year!

Indeed an intriguing post ! 🙂
A New Year begins with January and January begins with new resolutions.
We make resolutions , we break resolutions. Sometimes we follow them for a month or two , and then come back to our own track. Well , the reasons behind such an attitude are laziness and indecisiveness. So , this year I will try to work on these two facets , that hinder our progress in fulfilling our dear resolutions.
Wishing you and your family a very Happy New Year Prats ! 😀
And all the blog followers , Happy New Year ! 🙂
