Christmas for me is all about decorating the house, lighting up the tree and making loads of yummy stuff! From christmassy cakes and sweets for the kids, the list is endless. Unfortunately I was caught up with loads of work and pending travels that was keeping me occupied. I had the tree up and ready and the decorations were lacking. No matter what I thought of wasn’t creative enough and to be honest I did not have the time to get things going. That’s when the HP 3635 printer came to my rescue!
Getting creative with HP 3635 printer
With the Christmas season setting in and getting the tree in place, I felt that there was something missing. And that’s when I realized that I could get some decorations in place and also involve the boys with the creativity. Zeroing in to a few designs, we got the crayons, glitters and some craft accessories ready. We worked on hanging ornaments, getting the letters ready for Santa, some colouring of the ornaments and a little of crafty stuff.
We started off by taking print outs from the HP 3635 printer of a few colouring pages and the boys got about colouring the images they had selected. We chose simple designs that I printed on slightly thickish papers I picked up from the stationery store. These are easier to hold and more sturdy when you hang them from the satin ribbons that I used. Plain A4 papers tend to be a bit flimsy and tear easily. And when you have boys at home, you have to be extra careful! So there they are, getting the ornaments in place.
Once we were done, we used craft scissors and cut out the extra papers in the ornaments. Don’t they look lovely with so many colours? With two excited boys in tow, I finally got everything in place and starting sticking the ornaments we made with a satin ribbon to let them hang in a row.
I took out a few printables of the letters to Santa and the boys filled in the wishlist. They loved doing this activity. Now we just need to figure out how much Santa needs to pamper them. The wishlist is below the tree and for Santa to see so that he can get the gifts for them! So much for being a child!
That is the decoration that we worked upon! The boys are super thrilled with the decorations that they helped me with and have been proudly displaying their work of art to their friends! And that is what we came up with! Colorful hangings, lights and the tree! We are just ready for Christmas!
I have listed some of the features of HP DeskJet Ink Advantage 3635 Printer that I totally loved!
- Cost of the printer is less than INR 6000. You can get it for some amazing prices online.
- Easily connects to your home WiFi /router
- Supports dual side printing which is a win factor for me!
- Excellent print quality and it the cartridge lasts up to 408 copies! Isn’t that economical? Saves me loads of trips to the Xerox shop.
I am in love with my new HP 3635 printer. Not only is it useful for me for my office work, especially when I need to take out those printouts of the umpteen planners that I use, but also a major boon for the kids project work and homework as well! I am so ready to take on those school assignments too! Do you have a printer at home too?
