Get Your Skin Festive Ready with These Easy Tips
As most of you might have your skincare routine in place, let us see how you can squeeze out time from your busy schedule and be festive ready this year. Without much ado let us get started.
Be Happy, Be Positive
Now you might be thinking we are here to read about skin getting festive ready and what is this philosophical gyaan!? The truth is your thoughts; your emotions have a lot of effect on your body. So being in a happy, festive mood is going to have some happy hormones flowing through the entire body and mind. Just be positive and celebrate the festivals with joy. Do not just keep on worrying about your current skin condition and stress about it. We know it is easier said than done, but the least we can try is not to constantly crib about your current bad skin situation (if it is in bad situation).
CTM, Don’t forget SPF
Cleanse your skin thoroughly well before hitting the bed, in spite of the fact whether you use makeup or not. During the day do not skip SPF and do not forget to remove it before calling it a day. Follow your regular skincare routine during the festivities no matter how tired you are! Thoroughly remove your makeup before hitting the bed. You can use an appropriate powder cleanser like SkincareVilla Oats Almond Cleanser, or Green Tea Mint Cleanser as a part of your morning routine.
Mask it Up!
You can mask up daily or alternate days as a part of your night skincare routine. Don’t use masks, which are too drying that, might want you to end up scratching your face. You can alternate between a good hydrating mask, purifying mask, an ubtan, a detoxifying charcoal mask, each day or alternate days to get the most out of the masking step. Do not forget to use an appropriate moisturizer according to your skin type after masking.

Do not ignore the body
We often limit skincare routine to only face; avoid doing that. Moisturizing your hands and legs is as important as moisturizing the face. Scrub; mask your neck area, back, hands and legs too. It is all about skincare, which also includes all the body parts.

Stay hydrated
The most important thing we often forget when we are outdoors or are busy in our schedule is skipping on drinking water. Drinking water on regular intervals will also help with the binge eating. You can also try the infused water of lemon, mint or cucumber to add some flavor to your regular drinking the water.
Do not experiment much with new skincare products or makeup
Changing a cleanser or mask during festivals is ok, as compared to changing the whole routine or the moisturizer you are using since many months. You may never know which product might or might not suit you. So keep it regular and minimal during the festivities.
Massage your face for that luminous glow
Facial massage strengthens the facial muscles, increases blood circulation and promotes collagen production. It also detoxifies the skin by draining the lymphatic fluid. It also gives a nice glow to the face and you may not even feel the need to put on a highlighter. If you are familiar with face massage techniques then go ahead and give your face a nice face massage with a suitable massage cream or massage oil. If you have oily skin or active acne on your skin don’t try a face massage as it might aggravate the acne or irritate it. You can totally skip this step if you have not massaged your face earlier or do not know the technique suitable for your skin type.
