As someone who advocates green living and talks about the awesomeness of sustainable living, it is but natural for me to scout around to see what is new in the market! My search led me to Ecomart India, the latest entrant in the market of organic and natural living. It has a limited range of brands for now, but they do plan to expand soon. Nirvaaha ( Delhi one!), Azafran, Omved, Rustic Art, Do you speak green, Fundoo Bundoo, Gron, Nino Bambino, Iwearme, Organic Therapie, Yes OUI care and Satvik Organics are some of the brands that have marked their presence on their site.
What I picked up from them:
- Rustic Art Blueberry Baby Wash
- Rustic Art Aloe Shampoo
- Azafran Lavender Body Scrub
- Azafran Hair Oil – Rosemary Halo
- Azafran Palmrosa EO
Summing my experience
Ease of navigation – 4/5
There are just 4 categories on the website now and it makes the categorisation simple. Some of the categories are not complete, like the Mommy and Baby, where there is just an anti stretch balm for the mother. In the baby section of the same category there are almost 100 products displayed with a refine search option that allows you to narrow down your search to the products you are searching for. You have organic cotton tees by Omved that can be easily missed and some of the other fab products like the massage oils by Rustic Art and the power laundry that I recommend!
Customer Service: 4/5
There were timely mails sent out with the shipment details that allowed me to track the order online. I received my products in two separate packages. One of the packages reached after almost a week of me placing the order, the delay I assume was because of the elections. I did not call the customer service or ask any queries related to my order.
Billing 5/5
The billing is hassle free and they don’t offer a high cart value which is a good thing! Ecomart India has a flat INR 80 as shipping charges all over India.
Packaging and Delivery – 5/5
The packages arrived from the suppliers so there is nothing much to write about it. Azafran sent a few soap samples with the package which has been added to my soap stash! I do need to mention here that there were no traces of excess packaging and each product was wrapped and labelled individually.
For those of you who would want to try the website, I am running a coupon code DCT10 that will give you a flat 10% discount on purchases above INR 500.
Do have a look at the Azafran SkinCare range that is running some fab offers at the moment and use the coupon code. It is a steal!
Recommended ?
I have used and I do recommend most of the brands that they have on the website, but I would love a teeny bit more! What I love about Ecomart India is the variety in clothes that they offer. This is one of the few websites that offers such a wide range of organic clothing for kids. A major yes for me because I can shop for the clothes at one place.
I would sum up by saying that this is the start for Ecomart India. There is more to organic living than just skin care, hair care and clothes. I wish they had a larger collection that focuses on other aspects as well, like food and savouries, so that I could make it a one stop shop to buy all that I needed. But for now, do stop by and check the website, they have some amazing offers running that are a steal!
Note: This is a sponsored post and I was offered a GV to shop with them, but it has not affected this review.
