Diwali, the festival of lights is the perfect time to give to your loved ones. I think one of my major struggles would always be Diwali gift ideas, not knowing what to gift this festive season. Over the years I have experimented with Diwali gift ideas and have zeroed in to tried and tested options that add a personal touch to the gifting.
I prefer to choose gifts that can be used and not stashed away in a corner gathering dust. I pretty much stick to products in aromatherapy, skin & hair care, some quirky stuff and a bit of wellness.
Diwali gift ideas
Here is a list of some unique Diwali gift ideas for 2017; a selection of gifts that your friends and family will just not want to pass on. Ready to know more? Read on and decide what you’ll want to gift yourself too!
Soaps
I think I have enough soaps to start my own mini market and yet I end up buying more! I love a variety of soaps not just for myself but also my boys. Look out for soaps that are cold-pressed, hand-made in small batches that use only natural and organically grown ingredients. These are safe for your skin too.
Products I recommend: Hair & Body Soap by Burst of Happyness, Year of Happiness Set by Omved, Black tea & charcoal soap by Juicy Chemistry
Incense Sticks
Incense sticks are a good way to stream aromas in your home. Look for handmade, hand rolled incense sticks that are free from toxic ingredients that cause them to smoke. Organic agarbattis are made in a base of resins, bamboo and therapeutic grade essential oils that makes it safe to even burn indoors. Omved has a better range of fragrances in comparison to Forest Essentials and the soot from Omved’s incense sticks can be used for the plants too!
Products I recommend : Forest Essentials Aromatic Incense Sticks and Omved Incense Sticks.
Teas
Teas, especially green teas are loaded with many health benefits. One cup is all that you need to kickstart your day. I prefer the green tea and herbal teas because not only are hey healthy, but also full of benefits that help you steer towards a better health. These make an excellent wellness gifting option if you know someone could do with the dose of good health!
Products I recommend : Mama Earth’s Teas & Organic India’s Teas
