A fortnight ago I received “Freddy the Frog”, an Ultrasonic Cool Mist Humidifier from Crane USA for a review. It came as a welcome product because my boys had been falling ill very often because of the changing weather. Crane USA has recently launched a wide range of humidifiers in India and it is a blessing to own one!
Crane Cool Mist Humidifier Review
Humidifiers are mostly used in the winter to add moisture in the air in order to help raise the indoor humidity level. However with the scorching summer heat, I seem to have another problem. My twin boys switch on the AC almost the entire day that makes their room dry and cold. The moisture content in the summer is higher in comparison to the winter, but the use of artificial cooling in the homes hampers the moisture content. This imbalance of moisture content can cause some of the ailments that can strike you any time of the year, sinus infections, the common cold, flu and congestion.
The Crane Cool Mist Humidifier is an easy to use humidifier that doesn’t take long to assemble. I have been using this for a fortnight now and one of the important things that I notice is that my boys have a really sound sleep. The change of seasons often bogged them down with an illness – typically a cough or a old that lingered for at least a week or so, but they have coped with the changing season brilliantly! Touchwood! I noticed that the kids room was more breathable in comparison to our bedroom.

How to use the Crane Cool Mist Humidifier
The Crane Cool Mist Humidifier has three basic components – the water tank, the humidifier base with the water basin and a mist lid. To fill the water, turn the water tank and unscrew the cap of the tank. Use clean water to fill the tank, I used water from the AquaGuard to fill in the water in the tank. You can fill a little more than 3 litres of water in the tank. Screw the lid and turn the water tank to an upright position and place it on the water basin. Keep the mist on top of the water tank before you plug in the humidifier and start using it. Adjust the humidifier level and keep the room door partially open when in use. You can regulate the output by adjusting the knob on the humidifier.

As a mom, I wish I had discovered this product earlier, I am sure that it would have made a lot of difference to the health of the kids. I would recommend this as a MUST BUY product, because this one humidifier has so many uses!
