When it comes to arts and crafts, I can assure you that I am not creative at all. I am dreading the day when my boys will need help to draw objects for school work or worse still need my help with projects! Knowing my inability to be creative, Poornima, the blogger who is the founder of the super creative blog spoonfullofideas offered to send a sample of her craft kit that I could use and experiment with. I got this early in the year and I loved it! My kit came with a customised tag that has the name of the kid(s). I loved this gesture because it gave the kit a personal touch. I know that it is not something that has been just assembled and shipped across. You can choose from a variety of tags that she has for the kit you want to order.
Introducing the Craft Pouches
It came in a cute green pouch that can be reused later. The kit was packed neatly with a paper that had instructions to make a few crafts. There were links to the posts in the blog, I guess if there would have been a proper instruction booklet hat gave directions on how to create some interesting things with the craft pouch, it would have been a better idea. Let’s have a peek at what was inside the kit.
- Assorted pipe cleaners
- Ice cream sticks
- Googly eyes
- Glitter cello tape
- Buttons and sequins
- Craft Punch
- Two sided tape
- Lots of stickers
- Decorative papers
- Coloured ribbons
There are loads of ideas on her blog where you can visit and check for east DIY crafts. With the summer holidays just around the corner, I would say that this kit is going to be very useful for me to keep the boys busy!
