Cherry Face Wash by The Nature’s Co

TNC – Cherry face wash

The Nature’s Co came out with an awesome cherry face wash to combat the scorching summer heat. This face wash is from the Foressence range and is suitable for all skin types. This was a limited edition that was advertised on their website about 3 months ago and I had chanced to see it. And ever since then I have waiting to try.

I have used quite a few products from TNC and I quite like the variety they have. Right from the exfoliating face wash, shampoos and conditioners, they have a really large variety.

I finally got this about a fortnight ago when I was at the store to pick up some stuff. I got talking to the store manager and she was just getting a face wash packaged to ship to me :).  Talk of co-incidences. I have been using this for almost a week and a half now and I guess the time frame is good enough for a review.

The first fragrance of this face wash reminded of Starburst candies, the cherry flavour one. Its got a sweet and bitter kind of a fragrance and it does not leave a lingering fragrance unlike most of the facewashes from TNC. One thing about this face wash is that it tends to dry out the skin a bit, so if you have dry skin, you may want to first try it out at their store to see how it suits your skin. For people with a combination skin, you may need to follow this with a moisturiser.

Price, Shelf life and Availability

This 125 ml tube is priced at INR 395 and has a shelf life of 2 years. It is not available online because I am told that this face wash was a limited edition and they sold like hot cakes. If you have a store in the city you stay in, do drop by and if you are lucky enough, you may just get it!  The packaging is convenient and travel friendly like most of their face washes. I use this face wash not more than once a day so the tube is likely to last at least 3-4 months. And you need just about quarter a teaspoon of this face wash to cleanse your face.

Will I recommend it?

Not for dry skin, but for normal to combination and oily skin yes, because it helped control the oil balance for my skin type. And as I mentioned earlier, this is a perfect summer face wash, so if you spot this one at any of their stores, grab it before it is sold out. I was told at the store that it won quite a few rave reviews.  This is a limited edition face wash.

Want a quick face pack? :  Mash cherries into a smooth paste and apply on the skin. Leave on for 10 minutes and wash off with cool water. You’ll notice a softer skin.

About the product

The sweet and sour cherry fruit is loaded with lots of anti-oxidants and also, anti-inflammatory properties, which works extremely well on one’s skin leaving it smooth and healthy. While the face wash revitalizes one’s skin, its emollient and skin-lightening properties make the skin get rid of the problematic dead cells.

Ingredients

  • Prunus Avium fruit extract ( sweet cherry)
  • Aloe Barbadensis (Aloe Vera Plant Extract)
  • Vegetable Glycerin

This product has been made using natural hill spring water.

Note: This product was sent to me for consideration, but it has not affected my review.

So good for oily skin right? I’m looking for something right now. Happy with whatever I have but my skin seems to have stopped responding to it

Yes it is but I doubt you will get it because it was a limited edition item. Try the Facewash/ubtan from Omved, they are equally effective

Hmm try a gel based scrub if you have oily skin. The FE Kashmiri Walnut one is nice!

TNC has these dusting powders in many varieties. Have you tried them yet? Are they safe? Are they natural and organic?

I have never seen the dusting powders even though I have been to the stores umpteen number of times. I have seen body mists, which I would not recommend though, I find the bath and body works body mists way better!

yes, Bath & Body mists smell great, but they have parabens added. In summers my Mother can’t do without powders actually so I thought of trying a better alternative. If you happen to find out anything, please lemme know!
