Burst of Happyness is not a new brand and most of you are acquainted with some of the fab products that they make. I was recently sent a sampler set of deos and the Moroccan Argan Black Bathing Soap Paste, a range from their latest launches. Its been over a month since I have been using them and needless to say its time for the Burst of Happyness product reviews.
Burst of Happyness product reviews + Giveaway
I have used quite a few products from Burst of Happyness and have never really found anything that did not suit my skin. And these products left me really happy too! I was very intrigued by the bath paste because I have never come across anything like that and I was curious to try it.
Shreya, the lovely lady behind BoH mentioned to me that it was something that was inspired by the Moroccan Hammams. Now, I have never been to Morocco to experience what a Hammam feels like, but yes, that is on the wish list. And if I could enjoy it in the comfort of my home, why wouldn’t I indulge in it?
Moroccan Argan Black Bathing Soap Paste
The Moroccan Argan Black Bathing Paste by Burst of Happyness is more than just a soap. It doubles, sorry triples as a face wash and a shampoo too! I have used it all the three ways and I would stick to using it as bath paste! Inspired by the Hammams of Morocco, this bathing paste is low lathering and works wonders in getting rid of a tan and dead skin. Apply a liberal paste of the soap on the skin and soak in it for a few minutes. Wet a loofah and start gently scrubbing your skin on which the paste has been applied.
Scrubbing with the loofah gently exfoliates the dead skin and also helps to get rid of the tan. If you are looking for something fragrant then this is not the one for you, because it is extremely low on fragrance. This soap paste has been used for ages by Moroccan women as a part of the traditional hammam ritual. It has been made with a base of olive oil and argan oil which moisturize the skin.
Natural Deodorants
I am not a deodorant user because the chemical alternatives available in the market never suited me. Triclosan, Paraben and propylene-glycol are used in mass-produced deodorants and each of these ingredients have been linked to a multitude of health issues. When I saw the launch of these natural deo’s I knew that I had to try them. Rather than buying a full sized one, I opted for the sampler set that they have in all the three fragrances. You can choose for all the three in mini variants or if you have a favourite, just go ahead an choose it!
Look up the Lavender variant and Rose Crush variant here on Amazon. I am quite in love with the rose one which has a really nice and a lingering fragrance that lasts almost the entire day. Plus I am inclined to everything floral actually! These have a grainy texture and you need to apply just a little bit in the underarms and massage it till it is absorbed by the skin. The small particles from the grainy texture falls off once the butters have been absorbed by the skin.

Bathing paste – just fell in love after reading.. so useful to skin .. no chemical and harshness of foam and all.. Really loved it
Body perfumes in gel base in tiny bottles – wow.. so nice way to apply..just rub .. it must keeps skin white and doesnt let skin dry cz due to this we get itching and we just have to keep itching in public..

Participated in the giveaway , This is a New brand for me and seems so good . Among all product the Natural Deodorant seems so good and different , I also avoid using deo’s available in market as they have so much chemicals , would love to try BOH Lavender one 🙂

I would like to try the Just Like Heaven Facial Cleanser as I have totally skipped using foaming face cleanser. Powder form cleanser are good for the skin as I have hardly have had a breakout after switching to powder cleansers. What’s more, they are safe for the environment too ????

First of all I want to thank boh. My son had lot of skin changes and darkening as he was under blue light for jaundice for a couple of weeks after birth. I started using coconut milk soap for him from third month (he didn’t bathe before as he was a preemie). Boh coconut milk soap gave all the moisture his skin needs. His skin is fab now. I’d like to try out the Henna & Curry Shampoo Bar. Generally, I prefer using organic products for my skin & hair. Nowadays, most of the shampoos contain harmful chemicals. Organic brands like Burst of Happiness are like saviours. This shampoo bar from Burst of Happiness caught my eyes. The two main ingredients of this soap – Henna & Curry are attracting me a lot. I’m suffering from premature greying problem. I’ve heard that Curry leaves & Henna does wonders for premature greying. So I badly wanna try out this product.
