It’s a blogger block! Or the blogger’s nightmare. Call it what you want. Let’s admit it. Whether you are a newbie or a seasoned blogger, there are times when we tend to ignore the most basic things that go into blogging, the SEO (my nemesis!), blog theme, getting the domain name, backlinks, what kind of content to write for your niche audience to name a few. That’s where Bloggers Unplugged makes its mark.
About the Book:
Blogging is one of the known professions, but the hard work, dedication, and planning go behind a successful blog that is always underestimated. There are myths about bloggers that they work only for free, to get free stuff, or just to kill the time. But, there are many challenges every blogger face in their day-to-day life and excel in that to stay in this blogging world. This e-book is a sneak peek into bloggers’ life called Bloggers Unplugged to know more about their life. It will be helpful for new bloggers who are starting their blog with different blogging terminology but in a little fun way.
Bloggers Unplugged
As the song goes, “Let’s start at the very beginning, a very good place to start.” Haven’t heard it? Google Sound of Music! Bloggers Unplugged encompasses everything under the sun that a blogger must know when they are starting out. There are 26 chapters in this book that talks about the A-Z of blogging. It covers right from what you should write in the About Me section to how backlinks work. And to understanding the importance of using YOAST and other plugins that can help boost your blog reach.
This e-book is a handy guide that will teach you the very basics of blogging. It will tell you what are the things you need to keep in mind when you start out. As a seasoned blogger, I have also found it very useful to re-strengthen my concepts about blogging and realize where I was faltering.
The e-book talks about many things. Right from how to increase your reach be it in the form of guest posts, collaborating with brands, linky parties and more. And how to leverage the social media to get a better reach. These are sure shot ways to get your blog a wider reach if you are just starting out. I particularly loved the bits on SEO (of course, that’s my waterloo). But I wished it was explained in greater detail with mentions of free links where you can check SEO keywords. But, that’s my perspective.
While many think that blogging is easy, the truth is that it is not. One needs to work really hard to get noticed and possess an authority over the subject you write on. And it doesn’t come easy. It can take months and years of practice to do so. Right from maintaining an editorial calendar to keep your followers engaged on social media, it can sometimes be a mammoth task. But Ruchi, has broken each of these tasks into simple doable ones that makes life easier for you. So what are you waiting for? Download Bloggers Unplugged by Ruchi Verma here.
