A couple of my readers have left a comment on some of my posts where I have mentioned that I use this particular shampoo and conditioner. I had a stock of these that I just exhausted recently. The products that I am referring to is the Barnängen Shampoos & Conditioners.
Let me be really honest by saying that I do love this product despite its ingredients. This is one shampoo and conditioner that has actually made my hair healthy, beautiful and manageable. Despite this suiting my hair, I have made a conscious decision to stay away from it because I know that this is not going to be good for my hair in the long run.
Price and shelf life
This has a shelf life of two years and is priced at INR 975 each. (Pretty expensive. I just carried out the conversions! ) So, a bottle of shampoo and the conditioner will cost you just a little less than INR 2000. I can buy some premium organic shampoos in India for that kind of money! Each of the bottles has 250 ml of shampoo and conditioner each.
Where can I buy this?
I am not sure where you can buy this in India. I got these from Stockholm whenever my husband travelled there. It is available online, but again I am not sure if they would ship to India. I did my own bit of search online and was not able to find its availability here.
Will I recommend this?
We have better products in India, so no, I will not recommend this. I am saying this despite the fact that my hair has never felt so good with any other shampoo. It has everything that should not be in the shampoo, staring from the parabens to the SLS.
But if you are not concerned about the ingredients, I’d say give this one a try. This one did suit my hair really well and I have actually never had such healthy and manageable hair with other products.
