This is one of the products from the Foot Care range that Vedic Line promotes. I have already reviewed the Aroma Fizz tablet and this is the second product that I am reviewing from that range. The spa scrub is what you would need to use right at the start of your *clean my feet* regime.
For some strange reason this smells like Vicks Vaporub. I know! It was hardly tempting and the last thing I wanted was to have feet smelling like a balm! Since I had already purchased it, I decided to give it a try and was not disappointed about the fragrance. The balmy smell reduces to a great extent after you wash your feet which is really a life saver. This scrub has a grayish silvery color and I felt the scrub was a bit too mild for the feet. The scrub granules should have been a bit bigger and not so fine. I guess this was one of the reasons why the exfoliation did not happen. It also has a creamy texture to it that ends up moisturizing your feet, so it does not strip away dirt and oils very effectively. This was a major let down.
I followed this up with a Vedic Line Foot soak gel ( which I will review later) and I popped in a Spa Aroma Fizzy Foot Soak in the same water to provide some relaxation. I used my normal moisturizer to massage my feet post the foot soak.
Shelf life and price
This 65 ml jar is priced at Rs. 120 and has a shelf life of 3 years.
Will I recommend this
No, it contains parabens ( refer to the list below) and the scrub did not really remove the dead cells or smoothen the feet.I used this at least twice a week. It is suggested the scrub shoudl be followed up with their massage cream which I have not used as yet, so that could be one of the reasons why I do not have the desired results.
I bought this from Goodlife, but it is out of stock now. It is out of stock in Urban Touch and Jabong too. So I have no clue where you can buy this now! And I must add here that I bought it almost 4 months ago.
