Before the winters says the bye’s let me introduce you to one product that has been my companion this winter. I absolutely cannot live without it. I’ve mentioned before that my skin tends to get extremely dry and itchy in the winter. However, the case is completely different in summers and I absolutely use nothing on my skin because it is so hydrated.
The product I am referring to that I have totally loved this winter is the Nori Body Butter by The Nature’s Co. This one is from the Aquaspark range and it is heavenly. I picked this one at their store apart from lots of other things that are pending a review:)
What is a body butter?
A Body Butter is essentially a combination of pure oils and butters in a concentrated form. It feels heavy when you apply it but gradually gets absorbed into your skin. Body Butters are much richer in comparison to a standard moisturiser. Since your
skin drinks in moisture, a body butter will keep your skin hydrated longer. Perfect to use on those extra dry areas like your feet and elbows.
Getting back to the body butter, when I first walked in the store, I saw this array of body butters and was confused about which one to buy, till the girl at the store showed me the Nori body butter. I loved it immediately and I refused to look at anything else and picked this one.
It has an amazing fragrance that lasts for a long time and well keeps the body moisturised too. I needed to apply this just once a day. On days when it was really cold, I applied it twice. When you open the tub and smell it, you almost want to scoop out a bit and eat it! I am not kidding 🙂 It has a really light blue colour that looks beautiful. This worked as an excellent hand cream too and I did not purchase an extra hand cream that I typically do for the winters.
Price and Shelf Life
This tub of body butter is priced at ₹ 1095 and has a shelf life of 18 months, a tad expensive, but worth the money.
Where can I buy this?
You can walk into their store located i various cities in India or also order it online here.
Will I recommend this?
Absolutely yes! This body butter has worked wonders on my skin keeping is supple, soft and hydrated all through the winter. And I am almost exhausted with this tub. Will certainly go for a repurchase the next winter! But for those of you you who have an issue with dry skin all year around, this may just be awesome to keep your body hydrated. The tub is nearly empty as I write this review 🙂
For dry Skin Slather on refreshing Nori Body Butter. Derived from red algae, it is deeply effective in restoring and protecting dry skin. Rich in vitamin A and beta-carotene it makes your skin soft and supple once more. Apply this rich creamy butter onto skin daily. Massage slowly, allowing your skin to absorb the nutrients. Reapply as needed to rough or chapped areas.
Nori extract, Kokum butter, Grape seed oil, Vegetable Glycerin.
Note: My online shopping experience has not been that great with the Nature’s Co from their online store. I prefer to shop at their store which is located in Phoenix Mall in Pune. For some strange reason when I order online, I need to pay an octroi for over and above the payment when the delivery is made. This is a big minus point. I have no idea if this issue has already been resolved though.
The boys, coffee, books, music and ME TIME are my modes of relaxation!
