Discovering products that are in sync with what you love to let your audience know is always a delight. When I came across Ecotique products, I knew that this was a brand that I had to let you know about. I was introduced to these products early this year when my friend from Mumbai talked about them and gave me two samples to try.
I did my own research and found more about the brand. Ecotique is a blend of natural products and Ayurveda. For those who have been following my journey will know that I switched to Ayurveda a year ago and I am loving it! Products that are combination of natural ingredients and created with the base of Ayurveda is more pure and good for your skin. Trust me Ayurveda blended with aromatherapy is divine!
Ecotique Products from India
They have a diverse range of products. Light scrubs that exfoliate your skin very mildly, but effectively. Skin packs to tighten the skin and reduce the signs of aging, massage oils and lotions that promote a softer and supple skin. As someone who promotes chemical free living, discovering products that believe in lessening the carbon footprint on earth, these products from Ecotique are a welcome.
Ecotique boasts about sourcing its products from the best of places. Be it saffron from Himalayas, Lavender oil from Bulgaria, Volcanic Ash from Peru, Cedarwood Oil from Texas, Geranium oil from Egypt or Teatree oil from Australia. They have brought together the best natural actives to make truly effective products. They take great care to maximize the “naturalness” of the product such that the entire formulation is largely made of Ecocert certified ingredients.
” All Ecotique products are free from sulfates, parabens, artificial fragrances, phthalates, silicone, glycol and harmful preservatives. Our products are vegan and cruelty free. “
Where can you buy the Ecotique products?
For Punekars, head to Dorabjees in Camp to view most of their products and make a choice on what you want to buy. If you are looking at an online buy, check their range of products in Amazon.
Affordably priced, the products start from INR 600 and above for the range of skin care, while the blended oils are priced roughly around INR 250 and above. The products are targeted to someone who is I’d say late 20’s and above. Certainly not for those for in the teens or early 20’s. Their range in for someone with mature skin.
” All Ecotique creams, lotions, massage oils are made from the finest available Ecocert certified ingredients, carefully chosen and naturally derived. Our natural bases are loaded with peptides, ceramides, anti-oxidants, natural emulsifiers and natural preservatives … and we never use synthetic bases that have parabens, petro chemicals, sulfates, ethoxylates, nitrates or formaldehydes. “
The shelf life
Coming to the shelf life, some of the products have a shelf life that is as less as 3 months once it is opened. Mentioning the shelf life once it has been opened gives a lot of clarity and it ensures the user is clear about how long the product can be used. Luckily I am not the type to experiment with too many products at one point of time, so giving that kind of information is very helpful because I know how long I can use it.
What do I recommend?
I have tried the saffron oil earlier and I have recently purchased another bottle of it. If you have dry skin, then this one is pure bliss in the cold winters. Add a few drops of it on damp body and massage just a bit. You have moisturized skin for almost 14 hours of the day. And the best part? Saffron, in all its natural elements not just heals your skin but its unique properties help lighten the tan and keep it supple and moisturised.
Then there are some of the blended oils. I am currently using the stress-relief one and it has a lovely calming fragrance. Their blended oils can be used in multiple ways, add to your favourite massage cream, or blend with a carrier oil to use topically or use it in a diffuser. The choices are many, and each equally effective, though I have to admit that I am more of a diffuser person because I love lingering fragrances at home.
Follow Ecotique on their FB page and stay tuned with the latest updates. Product information, launches and more! Oh yes, and don’t forget to gear up for some awesome giveaways that will be announced soon.
The boys, coffee, books, music and ME TIME are my modes of relaxation!
